About the Baker
I started baking on a whim. I had just finished Graduate School and realized that if I didn’t find an additional outlet for my energy I may lose my mind. I enrolled in a short class since I had always had a passion for baking. Once I started I was hooked and found that I was pretty good at it. After perfecting my recipes and doing a couple weddings, I started to think I had something to offer. I realized that given my house was already set up with a professional, second kitchen I could make wonderful creations with low overhead.
When I am not in the bakery you can usually find me at Disney World. I love Walt Disney World and that it represents. I have studied the Disney experience at length and firmly believe that by being a Disney scholar I bring those ideals back into my business!
I also have an amazing family that I love and nieces that I adore with all my heart!!! I am beyond blessed!!!
It is my belief that every event should have great, fresh cake at it. However, I don’t believe that cake should break your budget. No matter the size of your event or budget, we will find something that meets your needs.
What we offer
Weddings: On your special day you should enjoy a delightful treat that is pleasing to the eye and taste buds. Every wedding cake is made fresh, with fresh ingredients. Wedding cakes start at $250 and are priced based on your specific wants and needs. Cakes are custom creations that come in different flavors, sizes and decorations. Don’t forget the groom! A groomscake is a great way to include the grooms personality and have a fun addition. Wedding cakes should be booked at least 12 weeks in advance and wedding dates will be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis. To reserve your date a 50%, non-refundable deposit is required with the full balance being due 1 month prior to the wedding date. Changes to the design must be made at least 1 month prior. Late bookings maybe possible, email baker to discuss.
Tastings: Tastings are a great way to help decide what flavors should be featured on your special day. Contact us to set up a tasting today. All tastings are held at Engaged Asheville in Reynolds Village, 41 North Merriomon Ave. #107, Asheville. Look for use on the corner behind YMCA.
Delivery: We offer delivery throughout North and South Carolina. Delivery charges are based on distance traveled. Please contact us for a delivery quote.
Event Cakes: We love to do smaller celebration cakes and help make a fun day extra sweet. Birthdays, baby showers or a cake for Tuesday, we have what you need. Let us help you celebrate life’s moments.
Cupcakes: Want something a little lighter? Cupcakes are an amazing choice, for any event. Cupcakes come in batches of 24 and can be a great way to offer choices to your guests.
Pinterest Cakes: Who doesn’t love Pinterest!! It is a great source of ideas and can help fuel our fire of design. I love seeing everyone’s work! As a cake designer, just as I wouldn’t copy someone else’s literary work, I try not to copy someone’s cake design. I think Pinterest is a good tool to see the things that you love vs. the things that you know you would never want!! I think we can come up with something together that is totally unique to you and that you will cherish as one of a kind!

Pricing
Let’s be honest, not all cakes are created equal. In the world of cakes, you really do get what you paid for. This is to say, sure you can go to a local grocery store and get a cake a little cheaper. However, if you spend a little more you will get real milk, butter, ect., baked fresh and years of experience to create original designs. You get a professional baker with a mind for flavor and the ability to create a little cake magic. Our cakes prices are based off of the individual design. Stacked cakes start at $250 for a cake serving 55.
The cake artist will work with you one-on-one to create a customized cake to meets all of your wants and needs.
Want more then just one, cupcakes are sold in batches of 24 for $36. Want personalized cupcakes, email us and lets talk about your custom design.

We accept payment through the website, credit or debit cards, and cash. Unfortunately we are only able to accept checks on larger orders or weddings and must be given at least 10 days prior to the payment due date. There is a $35 returned check fee that will be assessed on return checks.
